Yesterday I have conducted a concert with the Jaragua Philharmonic Orchestra fo the Brazillian "Valentines Day". It was a very light repertoire with some Opera Overtures, Grieg`s Sigurd Jorsalfar Suite, Opera Arias and Songs.
Marcia Kayser and Paulo Barato sang the duettino from "Don Giovanni" and duets from "The Merry Widow" and "La Traviata". After that they perform a very nice orchestral version of "Con Te Partiro" and the remarkable "All I Ask of You" from Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera.
The Theather was full and I had so much fun with the repertoire. Here are the beautiful images:
Ontem dirigi um concerto com a Filarmônica de Jaraguá alusivo ao Dia dos Namorados.
Foi um repertório leve, com Aberturas de Óperas, a Suite de Sigurd Jorsalfar de Grieg, Árias de Óperas e Canções.
Marcia Kayser e Paulo Barato cantaram o Duettino de Don Giovanni e também duetos da Viúva Alegre e da Traviata. Após, interpretaram uma bela versão orquestral do "Con Te Partiro" e a inesquecivel "All I Ask of You" do Fantasma da Ópera de Andrew Lloyd Webber.
O Teatro estava lotado e me diverti muito com este repertório.Aqui temos as imagens:
